Q: How long have you been with SMB?
A: In April I will celebrate my 15th year!
Q: What does your job entail?
A: Submitting and following up on claims so my doctors get paid 100% of what they are owed.
Q: Who inspired you to pursue the career you have today?
A: I had a friend (Dawn Fricke) who worked for SMB and encouraged me to apply.
Q: What’s the most exciting thing you are working on right now?
A: Already planning our next vacation!
Q: What motivates you?
A: I like clean claims. The less, rejections, denials/appeals I have to deal with and therefore my doctors are getting paid timely, the happier we all are. I also like my email to be clean by the end of the day. That way when I start my day I have nothing lingering from the day before.
Q: What’s one thing you learned in the last month (business or other)?
A: How to send a daughter to college and survive!
Q: What’s your superpower?
A: I love to read. I read a book a week.
Q: What is a fun fact that people may not know about you?
A: I have 2 kids but 10 years apart. My daughter is in college and 18 years old and my son is in 3rd grade and 8 years old. My husband and I have been married for 21 years.
Q: What’s on your bucket list?
A: Travel to Europe and moving to the beach!
